Adobe Lightroom Texture Brush

I am really appreciative that so many of you love my HDR Texture brush that I shared out in Part III of the HDR Best Practices Guide. In order to make it easier to grab a copy, I am placing a link to it right here, along with some instructions on how to get it loaded in Lightroom.  Enjoy and use it well!

You can download the brush file here

Follow the instructions below to start using the brush:

On a Mac

  1. Extract the brush file from the Zip archive that you just downloaded
  2. Copy the file to: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Local Adjustment Presets (where ‘~’ is your user directory)
  3. Restart Lightroom
  4. In the Develop Module, activate the Adjustment Brush utility (press ‘K’ in your keyboard) and select the brush from the Effect dropdown menu
  5. Viola!

On a PC

  1. Extract the brush file from the Zip archive that you just downloaded
  2. Copy the file to C:\Documents and Settings\<your_username>\Application Data\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop Presets
  3. Restart Lightroom
  4. In the Develop Module, activate the Adjustment Brush utility (press ‘K’ in your keyboard) and select the brush from the Effect dropdown menu
  5. Viola!

Have a blast, everyone!
