Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L, 17mm, F 4, ISO 100, HDR, 9 Exposures

I took this shot a few weeks ago on what had to be one of the coldest days that I can remember.  I had just come out of the nice, warm refuge of the Trinity Church (sadly with little in the way of usable shots) and scouted around to see if I could get any sort of remotely unique view of the oft-photographed area.  I figured that the combination of the tilt shift lens and my HDR post processing would hopefully render something decent.  So, when I saw this curving path leading the eye to the looming reflective facade of the Hancock Tower, I knew I had my shot.

This area has been shot so many times so it is nice to see a different vantage point and love how the walkway leads you to the John Hancock building. Well seen!

I knew there was a vantage point to get that shot without the clutter. Not surprised you found it. Great composition.
